well... assuming that you are taking the side of the democrats, i could, of course, give out the list of 'what it means to be a good democrat'. but let me reply, instead,  on the following:

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body,

the democrats say that war on iraq is killing innocents but then allows mothers, with the help of medical personnel and the support of government, to kill their unborn children. do you support abortion, g?

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

guess who voted against military defense spending including $87 billion for the troops?

A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

i don't think you are talking of the republicans. it's the democrats who belittle the help of countries in the coalition including britain and australia.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

please differentiate between a foreign policy program and a domestic policy. as for domestic heathcare, for myself, i would prefer having a say on my healthcare and, of course, having doctors still willing to practice medicine because they haven't been scared off by govt control on it.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense.

if you are talking about clinton, i agree that he shouldn't have been impeached just because he was being serviced by monica while in his office, talking to someone on the phone about bosnia. think about this, if he wasn't distracted by monica, would he have paid more attention to security matters instead of relegating most of the decisions to sandy berger? would he have been less worried about public opinion and ordered a hit on bin laden, thereby preventing 9/11?

A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

are you talking of bush? not true. michael moore lied and joseph wilson lied when they said that and the democrats continue to trumpet it around the world, ignoring the conclusions of the butler commission, the 9/11 commission, and the senate intelligence committee. and then they cry that the world hates america.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

of course the democrats wouldn't want to censor the internet. after all, al gore invented it!

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

er, the focus now is on the 70s because:  kerry makes his 1/3 duty (4 months) in vietnam his central theme and when people who served with him question it, he: (1) threaten tv stations against showing the ads, (2) tried to paint them as liars (with the help of major tv station hosts who browbeat pro-swiftvet guests) and... when it still didn't work, asked for Pres. Bush's help to denounce the swiftvets (talk about protecting freedom of speech!). well, since it still didn't work, democrat politicians are now coming out of the woodwork to question, once again, pres. bush's service in the ANG.

let me describe this in one word: pathetic.

i honestly think that you definitely have more character, sense of leadership, and moral backbone than kerry. so i would have thought that you'd see through kerry and see him as the poor choice in this elections.
